A Beautiful Abundance is a celebration of colour, texture and the glorious imperfection of flowers gathered
together.
Layers of blues, turquoise and green tumble from the vase, punctuated by unexpected touches of pink and
warmth. Loose marks and expressive texture allow the flowers to merge into one another, creating a piece
that feels alive rather than carefully arranged.
I didn't want to paint a perfect vase of flowers. I wanted to capture that wonderful feeling of bringing an
armful of blooms inside and suddenly filling a room with colour.
A little reminder that life doesn't always need to be perfectly arranged to be beautiful.
