Sailing is bold, unapologetic and completely unbothered. Hidden behind oversized aviators, cigarette
poised between her lips, she has the unmistakable air of a woman who stopped worrying about other
people's opinions a long time ago.
Loose expressive marks, monochrome tones and flashes of gold give the piece a raw, contemporary edge,
while those dark reflective lenses keep just enough mystery.
She's not asking for approval.
She's not explaining herself.
And she's definitely not trying to fit in.
She knows who she is. Whatever anyone else thinks is entirely their problem.
I believe art should feel - alive, hopeful, personal. My creative process is loose and intuitive: I don’t plan, I respond. I layer colour, shape, and movement until something stirs.
